Every picture tells a story. What do you want yours to say?
I've been using cameras in some form or another most of my life, but I bought my first 'professional' camera in 2016. I began with natural light family and lifestyle photos, then moved to shooting theatre productions and real estate. After moving to the DFW area in 2018, I began shooting headshots for other area actors and performers, and I expanded my skills to include studio and creative portraiture. I love the opportunity to get to meet new people, and I love making people feel good about themselves and the way they look. I'm committed to improving my skills, exploring new styles and techniques. I never could get the hang of drawing - but I love painting with light.
I started learning the basics of videography in high school, before the age of non-linear editing, and after graduating, I interned at the local cable company where I assisted on commercial video shoots. Several years later, in the middle of my radio broadcasting career, I had side gigs as a weekend news photographer and as commercial videographer and editor. I went back to school to get my Bachelor's Degree in 2011 and took several courses Mass Communications, Film Theory, and Media Production, while working in the marketing department at the university and assisting on commercial and event shoots. I've been working as an independent professional videographer and editor since 2018.
